DVA, Work Cover, Third  Party and Medicare Plan patients:  Yes – you will need a referral from your GP prior to commencing treatment.

What do I need to wear?

Light, comfortable clothing such as shirt and shorts are fine.

What happens during a consultation?

During an initial consultation, a thorough history will be taken. Your main concerns will be identified and assessed. Your condition will be explained clearly to you and then treated appropriately. Treatment will vary depending on your condition but will consist of:

  • Manual (hands on) therapy
  • Massage therapy
  • Electrotherapy
  • Hot/Cold therapy
  • Exercise therapy
  • Education/explanation of your condition – what it is, what to expect, what you can do
  • Review any difficulties at home or at work with modifications made as appropriate
  • Recommendation and procurement of equipment of cost effective.

You will be provided advice for tasks you find difficult as well as a home exercise program targeting any weaknesses. If further treatment/review is required, another appointment can be made.

At a subsequent consultation, any change to your condition will be noted and your particular weaknesses reassessed. Your home program will be reviewed and updated as necessary, and treatments listed above continue.

How long are the consultations?

Initial consultation: 40 minutes
Subsequent consultation: 30 minutes

When do I pay?

In full at the time of consultation.

What are the payment methods?

Cash, EFTPOS, Credit Card.

Can I swipe my private health card and just pay the gap?

Yes! We can conveniently process your claim on the spot.
